Saturday night FULL OF HAPPINESS

Good night everyone, I am single one and tonight I can't do anything except make a disscusion in this blog hmmm:(

I have found that Implementation of ICT has problems. So,technical problems were found to be a major barrier for teachers. These technical barriers included waiting for websites to open, failing to connect to the Internet, printers not printing, malfunctioning computers, and teachers having to work on old computers

So, As a teacher, Can we do anything to fix it? Or just stand and watch till government to fix it? Thank you

  1. Mmm we can't stand and watch the goverment to fix it cz it seems like we waiting for someone to reach the moon in the sky.... So, we as a teacher must learn more and practice a lot.

    1. Yes I see, but how? Cause I experience that in school, it's not about practice or somethin' its about how come governments close their eyes for important things like this one? So ICT's Function is not running as like as we want. We as a teacher what should we do? Buy ICT's Tools with our own money?

    2. Sorry... I got an information from KEMENDIKBUD that they were allocate funds for the development of the program through School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in the form of Affirmation BOS (BOs Afirmasi) and Performance BOS (BOS Kinerja) for giving the ICT's tools. So, when your school or some school didn't get it maybe its on the process. CMIIW ✌️

  2. We cannot wait till goverment fix it because we need to use the facilities to teach. If we only rely on the goverment we wont move further ahead. So imo we need to use our own found to overcome the problem, sometimes lil bit sacrifice is needed to teach to the fullest.

    1. if we talk about fixing the main or root of the problems, it sure needs the involvement of the government. However, we don't have to wait for them to step up, we can start by doing what we as a teacher can do, which is report the problem to the higher ups (in school), then we can make a proposal and convince the school to ask for funding, maybe through a donation from the student's parents, or add a little bit extra to the student's yearly payment for better facility, etc. If push come to shove, making a little sacrifice by using our own money as individual is good, but not necessary, because not everyone is capable of doing so. At the end of the day, working or teaching under such circumstances (lack of facility) is already considered part of our 'sacrifice'.
